Though many people think that lvl 70 means that they are top dog, it still trulyomes down to skill and people seem to forget that though the toon may be the same as they guy with a 2300 arena rank, it is still the human thatontrols the toon that wins. Not the toon. HolyTeardrop was expressing that there seem to be a lot of dorks thinking that bause they hit 70 they are gods, when truly they are just ignorant, and maybe unskilled if they are on the fourms asking how to kill.... I have a few issues with some Pally abilities. I'm going to list them as well as provide a logal solutionalternative. This is mainly with regard to Ret. 1. JUDGEMENT OF JUSTE.urrently, this is pretty lame. For PvE it's almost useless bause when a mob flees he's pretty mh dead anyway. When solo, HoW is pretty efftive. For PvP it's usuable on about 1 12 to 2lasses. Druid are our main target. Shams and Rogues we use it situationally. The mount debuff is fun, but more trivial than anything(why is someone riding over you?). SOLUTION: This NEEDS to be a snare! Making an enemy run as fast as you is NOT mh of an ability. In order to make JoJ efftive we need to talent to run faster(PoJ). A flat 25% speed redtion would solve this broken judgement. Mobs would be slowed. Enemies would be melee cessible, finally. 2. REPENTEE. LongD, medium range, and tohiness makes this spell usuable but mh desired. Great futionallity as aombat sap. Ne as a spell interupt. However, 60s is too long to wait. Range is still sueptible to kiting. The stun mhan is broken very easily andan be reflted or resisted. SOLUTION: Duration reded to 30s6s.D reded to 30s. As a side efft, the silee mhan of HoJould be applied to Repentee instead(Debatable). 3. DIVINE STORM. I'm going to get flak here. This whole ability may be OP and also dangerous at the same time. In PvE, this is a lowD AoE with alot of puh. This is fantast for AoE spif situations, similar to liberally using a Mage's A Explosion. However, this is also where it fails. Being on sh a lowD it is threaded into every Ret dps rotation. This hasreated a paladin playstyle, full of burst dmg with low regard for surroundings andor threat level. At theurrent state of a level 70 Pally, DS is used as a main attk and is used in most situations. The obvious downside of using DS near aC'd mob islear and naturally the remedy is to staylear of theC. The bigger issue is when you have spawning mobs, multi-mobs, or just plain area dangers. To put it into referee for everyone: Take the Illhoof fight. Max dmg is required for Kil'rek andhains. The Pally would naturally want to use DS. The use of DS wouldertainly trigger the aggro of a number of Imps. This wouldause the healers to move fus to the Pally from the Tank, OT, Warlk, andorhains...inviting a possible raid we. Now, this fight has sie bome trivial and pulling aggro DOES NOT equal a we. This hasreated The Godmode Paladin. If we took the above example and applied lvl 80 diffulty, The Godmode Paladin would learn all too qukly that AoEing does have direonsequees. Blizzard seems to have the affinity toreating more dynam fights(less tank n spank). This l
